trailer ramp stowage

My current equipment trailer has the ramps sliding under the deck on the RH side of the trailer. I want to make the ramps longer to reduce the angle so I can drive the skidsteer up bucket first and I'd like to have them slide in from the rear. I'm not sure if there's enough room between the frame and the axle.

Has anyone done this or have any ideas on different ramp stowage? I could convert it to a drop-down ramp but I'd rather have them stowed underneath if possible as I often carry longer items that hang off the back of the trailer.

    Any ideas?? thanks
