Hey guys, I had an issue a couple of weeks ago where my trailer brake, and signal lights worked just fine but the running lights for night did not. I bought a tester and found the plug on the truck to be bad. I put a new 4 pin plug on the truck and that fixed it. Last night I noticed the same thing was happening again brakes and signals work but again no running lights? I checked the new truck plug and again its not putting any juice to the brown wire? I figure I will put on a new plug one more time but if it goes out what would be the cause? Any ideas?

Well 1 of a couple of things. Don't know what truck you have but alotta newer trucks have fuses for the trail system. If equipped, ck that. If not, double ck your connection where you replaced the trail plug connector. They should be heat schrinked butt connectored only.

Put the test light on the wire before the new connection and go from there.

Had the same problem the other night, fixed all my trailer lights and I had a burn fuse inside my truck. I'd check that :canadaflag:
