I'm going to be getting a new enclosed trailer real soon. I am considering a 7x21' v-nose with rear and front ramps, hopefully w/front ramp on curb side. I will be using this trailer for snowmobiles, quads, and lawn equipment, my question is what would you go with the steel or aluminum frame trailer? Both have 3500 lb axle's, the aluminum weighs 1860lbs, which would be a plus. The aluminum lists for about 4800.00 before taxes. Thanks in advance.
  2. 8' wide, you will hate the 7 footer.

Ya actually I've been checking around and will be considering a 8'.5" instead of a 7'er. My main concern is the aluminum frame, But probably will have to order a steel frame one, reason I was asking about the aluminum was they had them in stock. Thanks
  4. The frame should be much stronger then what the axels can handle.

The aluminum is strong , but won't rust like steel.

Do they even make a 20ft. or bigger trailer 7 ft. wide? I've never heard of it.

Yes there considered sno trailers, but the have the fenders on the outside of boxes. I'll try and send a pic. You can get this stlye up to 8.5 wide. I will probably go with the steel trailer.
