I have noticed that a lot of LCO's use an open trailer. Why not a cargo, enlosed trailer? I would want a enclosed trailer, number one for storage, and number two so that I can lock it up on a job and nothing will get stolen.

For many of us who only have money or space for one trailer, Its hard to haul leaves, trimmings and stuff like that in an enclosed trailer. Open ones are also cheaper.

As far as security I guess that depends. I have locks for every piece of equipment in my open trailer. Most enclosed trailers only have one lock, so its actually a little easier to clean out the enclosed than it would for someone to take all my stuff.

But i think it would be nice to have an enclosed trailer, a box truck would be even better.
