Can anyone tell me how to adjust the tranny on my Scag W/B. Its belt driven and when you go it comes to almost a complete stop then goes again. i think it needs to be adjusted but dont know how.

i'm not sure where it would be, but try tightening the belt tensioner screw or bolt,if the belt is loose.to adjust it, turn the screw or bolt clockwise to tighten it. that should help. :blob3:

when it slows to almost a stop does the belt/s look like they are slowing down at the same rate?

Don't know if you've fixed it yet. Check bottom belt, not side belts, belt from engine to input of trans. is probably loose, or, input pulley is wallowed out along w/the woodruff key.
