I have a 97 Ford F350 and the leak is where the shaft enters the the case.Is this a tough job to do and how do you fix this?Or is this something that has to be sent out? Thanks.

Had the same prob on my tahoe but it was a small eraser size hole in the case so i used JB WELD one year ago and guess what no leaks that saved me 1300 bucks. just apply allot and let sit at least 24 hours.

Is it leaking from the front or rear drive shaft? Either way its not that hard to do. Just be careful not to booger the the seal mating surface. If I remember right it shouldn't take more than an hour or two.

The front shaft. There seems to be a seal at the connection.
