Do you haul the branches and debris or leave it at the curb for pickup? I'm just starting to get into some tree pruning (mostly palm trees) and wondering whether to just tie up the fronds and leave them at the curb or haul them off to the county dump. If I was going to haul them it would be a bigger charge since it is an hour ride out there and it also costs money to use the dump.

I've got a chipper so we just chip it all up and haul it to the dump. It only costs like $ 3.00/yard to dump chips so I can live with that. Anything thick enough to split for fire wood I'll dump back at the shop, then once we have enough logs piled up we rent a splitter and sell tem off as firewood.

  3. if the town will pick it up, i leave it. The customer doesn't usually want to pay twice for the same thing.
