    Myth or fact? Do you guys have piles combusting spontaneously?

    not me personally, but yes it has happened to a friend down south, he lost a tub grinder and a barn.:cry:

    I would think keep it turned and you should be fine.

    Yes it happens more than you think

    It happens in barns when you put up wet hay bales for sure

    we had a HUGE hay fire a couple of months ago. Hay rolls 3 high it seemed. Didn't think we would ever get that thing put out.

    Try a mulch fire. We have one in San Antonio and it's still burning after two years.

    They can't put it out. The water runoff is polluting everything and now the lawsuits are starting to fly.

    Good old San Antonio. I spent a couple years out there. Some of that in Austin. (2 years ago, wow) Looks like a gotta search about that fire. You peaked some interest.
