I recently purchased a 17 acre parcel of farm land that I would like to raise quality trees on. I do not have a degree in horticulture but on the other hand I have been in the Lawn Care / Maintence industry for about 11 years so I am not completely in the dark. Does anybody know where I can get either bare root saplings or something close? Other advice would be appreciated. I believe this would be a good way to make some money in the future.

First, subscribe to American Nurseryman magazine, (800) 621-5727.
Second, for liners, contact J. Frank Schmidt & Son Co
Third, contact your local horticulture extension agent, for recommendations for the best trees to raise on your site.

    Good Luck.
