Most vibratory plows (i.e. DitchWitch 100sx, etc) have feed blades designed to do exactly what you want done. These plow the lines in without destroying the grass.

    Get a 410sx with a wirefeed blade.

The wire feeds off a spool into the blade chute and is laid about 18" down . There is no trench to backfill, and you can easily do 5000' in a day with just one man.

A different machine, but same plow concept:

Not a whole lot of money in it. I know a few guys around here that do it and they are looking to get out of it. One of them actualy owes me $235 for pulling right thru a valve box.

Around here one can make that doing irrigation in 8 months . Unfortunatly around here that income is " just getting by".

  10. Life is full of trade offs. 80,000 to 100,000 in Dallas goes a long way. Nice house, two cars, money left over for IRAs, etc. But it is miserable here in the summer sometimes. I love visiting my daughter in Boston and wish I could spend my whole summer there. But for her to live there she has to share an apt with three people and they have one bathroom and she is in Somerville. Can't afford a car and I still have to send her money. I don't know how poor people survive in Boston.
