anyone know where to get a tri-pod ladder?
Why do you want a tripod I hate those. I use a fiberglass step ladder. I bring blocks of various sizes to level the legs. Its stable like that.
Just got a 6' wood one from ACE hardware - tough to find - ran about $129.00.
Thanks for your input Liberty, it's always nice to hear something that actually relates to someones question.......
We have both an 8' & a 12'. They are not made for concrete, but they excel on uneven terrain. On many large shrubs, you just stick the pol in the middle & you're on top of your work (as opposed to a standard step ladder whereas the higher you go, the further you get from the plant. They are extreemly stable too. The 8' is so lightweight. You can get them through AM Leonard, or Bissett Supply. I would suggest ordering both at the same time to save on the freight.
Orchard supply places should be able to get them for you.
That's where I bought my second one from and it is the favorite one around here.
They call them "orchard ladders".
