What kind of trimmer brand is better: stihl, redmax, echo, etc.
all three of these brands are fine ,but go with a dealer who you feel like will stand behind his product and is close to your work . I prefer stihl there is a dealer just a few miles from me and i have had great luck with stihl.
i love my stihl fs 80's.
went to tanaka about 10 yrs ago from redmax and i wont go to anything else-light and powerful
They are all good. I prefer Echo, though (I have used both Stihl and Echo) I think that all of the Echo's that I have used have had larger gas tanks than Stihl. Echo's string replacement system is also easier to use.
i love my echos. and ive got a dealer 2 min from me.

I like Echo.
Redmax is top itz mostly all we run as for dealers most are the pitz.
They are all good ones that you mentioned.
I prefer my Stihl Fs80R because it has more power than the Echo
