trimmer head

    Is anyone using the new echo head where you put in the string in pieces like 8-10 inches long. No more winding the string? Looks like it would work pretty good. My dealer says it will fit on most all brand trimmers.

    I have not tried the new Echo head, but my experience with heads like that is not good. If you get next a brick wall you will be stopping and poking in new line every few feet.:dizzy:

    Echo says use the .130 line in it. That stuff looks like it will last a while. I have never used more than .105 in my bump head.

    We have two of them,My brother likes them,I prefer the bump heads.
