So what kind of line do you use? I have been using the Stihl .095 round line. I would like to find something that would hold up a bit better. I use my trimmer to edge which beats the line up pretty quickly.

Any recommendations for something a bit more durable?

Shakesphere .095 twisted line. Awesome. Quiet. Clean cutting, SHARP line, great for edging (I use an Edgit).

i agree with br549uicu8, ultra twist is really good and efficient but it does not have the strength of other lines. it can get messy with fences of all types, so if you do lots and lots of fences maybe try the heavier grade or different brand. but i can assure you no trimmer line we have tried in 26 years cuts as clean easy and effeicnently as the ultratwist.
