I have found that I get a better trim when I just use one line instead of two on my trimmer, anyone else do the same ?

Yeah, that's why I switched to .080 for good, half the line of 095

I like the double line trimmers - I use the biggest curve shaft JD makes, but use 080 instead of 095 - It cuts better, and besides, you can wrap about twice the amount of line on the spool. It lasts way longer.

Way too much vibration on a single string. The double is alot smoother to operate, and should cut as good or better than a single string. I have never had any problems. I use .095 square line currently, but have been contemplating giving .080 a try.
