I like the way that Redmax puts Zerk grease fittings on their trimmer heads.

Anyone know where I can get a Zerk that fits a standard Stihl gearbox?
I'd like to replace the little screw-in cap with a Zerk.

Words of advice take the trimmer head off before you stick it full of grease,as for the fitting take it off and match it with the right threads.

Your dealer would probably give you that for next to nothing.
I put grease fittings on my stuff a while back.

I take that plate off my Echo units so I can rotate the gears to sharpen them and I never seen a lack of grease in them. Echo has the grease port but sure don't seem like they need it.

Stihl makes a tube of grease that will thread right on the head and you can squeeze it till its full, fairly inexspensive also
