trimming cedars

    We are experiencing a drought here in Vancouver , BC. All trees are under considerable stress as we are not been allowed to water lawns and trees. Would you trim cedar hedges this fall or wait till next year?:dizzy:

    As long as you don't remove too much foliage - say limiting it to 10% canopy or foliage removal, that can reduce the foliage that demands water from the roots.
