    Brian,
When will the mods for higher tip speed be available for the 06 decks?
    Thank!

    Hello,
They are starting to become available now for certain deck sizes. Go ahead and visit with your Dealer to see if they have one in stock to fit your model.

I asked a couple weeks ago about any changes to this Triton Deck. You never posted my thread and you never answered me. My dealer knows nothing about any changes or upgrades.

On October 18th we issued a product advisory to our Distributorship about the Triton deck update kit. It states that update kits will be available in late October.
    There are three modifications.
    1. Modify the flow control baffle between the center and discharge blade.
    2. Change the blade tip speed to levels closer to 19,000 FPM allowed by the safety standard.
    3. Add a scrowl baffle in the left hand cutting chamber to address an air flow
turbulance issue between the left and center blade.

All of these modifications will be available in a single update kit based on the cutting width.
All 2007 production units are being designed to these new standards.

OK then with a faster tip speed will the blades dull faster??
Thats the biggies complaint that I have about this Triton system is they just don't stay sharp at all??
