Trigger keeps sticking...keeps running after I let off trigger and slowly goes down...anybody else?
try spraying a little wd40 on the throttle parts at the carb. also turn the trimmer upside down and spray around the trigger to let it soak up into the handle.
Never had this problem with my 90, but the 4 Mix Stihls are known to rev up/rev down slower than two cycle trimmers.
common prob with stil trimmers -the throttle cable system is pitifully cheap and prone to cheap parts breaking and throttle sticking. its also a ***** to put back together
I agree. Seems like these throttle cables are designed to be as difficult as possible to lubricate/service/change, and they are not made robust enough for the job they're supposed to do.
