The current owner (2nd owner) says it needs to have the reel sharpened to get it back to a golf course cut (stated he believed the knifebed to be in good condition) and that he believes it is 7 or 8 years old. It appears to me to be a C model as it has the single rear and double wheeled casters. Anyway, they engine is a 3.5 HP honda gx110 and is said to be in good operating condition and used as his primary mower last year on his lawn. Does this sound like a good deal? I can probably get him down $50 or so due to it needing some maintenance to get it back to proper operating condition.

EDIT: This is probably a P model.

  3. that's an old mower....without seeing the reel or bedknife, the cost to get it where it needs to be could be a lot....I would offer $150 and that's it. If it needs a new reel, your already looking at $400 or so....bedknife more $$.....who knows how the motor has been taken care of as well....heck, offer $125....
