how much do truck loaders run and are they worth it.

I paid $2200.00 for a Parker, 16hp Vangaurd engine.
Yep, about $2000, give or take.
If you haul leaves away, they are definately worth it.
But it really helps to have the proper set up for it. By this I mean a way to hold and dump the leaves your sucking up.
A dump truck or trailer, or a pick up with dump insert is what you need. Trying to unload a a box on a regular truck bed by hand is a nightmare. A truck loader really packs them in tight.
Definitely worth the investment if you have the proper set up like gogetter mentioned. Otherwise, you're looking at a wasted hour of your own labor to get them out of a pick-up. Keep in mind, there isn't much daylight out there in the Fall to get these leaves done, time is money and very precious. Work smart.
I paid 500 for mine used.
Got my 16HP Little Wonder for $2700, for me its definatly worth the cash!!!!!
