I am a quickbooks user. How do you guys enter in Truck/Mower tax dedutions. I previously paid in full a 2003 F-150, two Scag mowers, 2 blowers and 2 line trimmers. I will be entering these in as (Investments:Owners Capital), but how much???? Any advice on rate/hourly usage/depreciation or how you do it would be appriciated.

I have equipment in QuickBooks as an Asset (each piece over $200 listed separately) with a Subaccount for Depreciation. When I received back my Accountant's tax filing, I entered in the depreciation amounts. They will be itemized on a separate form. You do this as part of your year end closing. QuickBooks screen help can walk you through it.
