What are you finding more dependable? All my trucks are 3/4 ton and drive within a 45 mile radius.

I find Chevy vortec engines are great also the duramax' engines. Seems like most fords are blowing turbos or transmissions. Just my family owns both

We run a 6.0 powerstroke and a duramax. Definaty prefer the duramax getting 24mpg pulling a 20' trailer

I'm a ford guy, but let's face it. Most trucks made today well last a long time. Take care of them and don't over load them. The only reason I like ford more is they seem to have the suspension to handle more weight.
