TruGreen 1980

    Anybody here work for TruGreen in 1980? I just got a sheet from Social Security --it shows that TruGreen did not pay my FICA tax in 1980. Social Security office said unless I have my check stubs or W-2 from 1980--there is nothing they can do. Probably won't make any difference.

    What about contacting IRS? They should have your info on file somewhere. Not sure if that would be of much help though.

    Riggle, how old were you when you started working for Chemlawn?

    I was 34 when i started in with TruGreen 1977. I am 64 now. Owned my own company since 1988.

    That is FREAKIN AWESOME!!!!! I pictured you as about 48 yrs old maybe. I hope I can do this as long as you have. If I can I'll consider myself a success!
