That's the only way I can see this scenario unfolding.[/QUOTE]

Yeah I have been maintaining them for over 10 years and have a really good relationship with the managers, but they were informed this year that now all bids are gonna be handled by corperate. So you know what that means. Who cares about quality or loyalty its all about cutting back. I understand why they do it, now I just need to make adjustments on my end to make things work ya know.

I have just faced the same problem with a fast food chain in Louisville. Geting in good with general managers doesnt any good. I got my jobs back with a new company buying them out. The director of properties has all the say no matter what your relationship is with the managers. I hate to say names but brickman is 3rd in nation tru green 1 and valley crest is 2nd. sorry for the mis order. However watch out guys these company's are doing what we may not in this industry. They are offering tens of thousands of dollars in free seasonal collar and much more to win over bids against small to med contractors and they are winning. We cannot do this they are big enough to do so it just goes to show you what this economy is bringing people are doing crazy to maintain their work load to pay for what they have established.

They have mowed here for quite a few years. They bid so low on commercial and municipal work that they are not making any money on anything they bid. Their work has been terrible looking. Over the last two years, they have lost every job they had around out town, and the City has rejected their bids outright and will not even consider using them. I believe they have closed several ov their offices around here. The Trugreen company is currently for sale, as the owners are bailing out of the lawn business.

They actually bought out a few big landscape companies in New England back around 98-2000. The are called True Green Landcare. The work is ok. They do low ball most stuff but not everything.

TruGreen contacted me about doing a ton of mowing for them for customers. Said all they want to do is apps, everything else they will give to me. I had a thought wondering if they would ever screw me over on my prices and undercut me, either to a sub or themselves. So they actually signed an agreement my attorney came up with so they cant divulge any info or violate my contract in anyway or they would pay 10 times the contracted price.

Is that Trugreen or Trugreen Landcare? Two different divisions trugreen can be franchised Trugreen Landcare cannot be and was start by Service Master buying Landcare USA.

I worked for TruGreen last year and was with a mowing crew. Mowed the "Hill Cumorah" sites. Google it.
