Turf Administrator---- Connecticut

    The City of Derby is looking to hire a turfgrass administrator for 2 full sized soccer fields in the City. The Turf Administrator will be responsible for overseeing an Integrated Turf Management Program for the fields. The administrator shall ensure that accurate records are maintained and that the ITMP is in compliance with regulatory and management plan requirements. The administrator shall be a turfgrass management professional with experience and training in turf management and commitment to reducing the use of chemicals on the fields. The administrator shall be a certified pesticide supervisor.
    A meeting shall be held annually or more frequently as requested between the administrator, Inlands Wetlands enforcement officer, and the Derby Inland Wetlands Agency to review the prior years activities, plans for the upcoming year, and any proposed modifications.This meeting shall include discussion of the proposed fertilizers and pesticides to be used in accordance with the plan.

    A quick clarification:

    The hire would not need to apply any material, nor complete any of the maintenance on the fields, just oversee the process, and track/report results.
