turning help

    been mowing for about 5-6 years.have only used a sabre
    lawn tractor 48''.have just recently purchased the new style snapper ztr 52'' like the mower very much but am having trouble turning especially in tight spots.do between 15 & 20 yards
    every week mostly country yards 2-3 1/2 acres .any help would be appreciated

    the key to turning is to keep both wheels in motion. if the inside wheel is not turning, it's tearing.

    when you're first learning, it can be quite frustrating. you can resort to three point turns, but that kind of takes away from the whole point of having a ztr. just stick with it.

    yes, I just got my first ztr, and It does take a while getting use to it. Just take your time, dont try to run full speed at first. the first thing I mowed was my grape orchard, about 2 acres in size. about 150 plants, and probably 200 posts to mow around! What a job that was! very slow going! so now I feel like I can mow just about anything.
