Kind of a dumb question, I would ask my accountant/payroll company, however it is to late to call them and it is bugging me now, haha.

So, today I got something in the mail reguarding a former employee whos recieving unemployment, and now I got this thing for a re-determination.

Does this mean the employee is now looking for more money? I want to try to get this denied, which means I would protest this correct?

Most likely, the UE office wants to redetermine if he is eligible to draw. Call them and ask what's up. You can protest or challenge his elligibility then.
