Anyone ever try G oil? Its a bio-synthetic oil. They have two stroke and four stroke oil.

I agree with Richard. I use Amsoil with the same mix in all of my equipment. Engines run cleaner with very little smoke. My blower is 13 years old, my trimmer is 10 years old, I have a Lawnboy 2 cycle that is 15 years old and still runs fine. I don't need any more convincing. Oh ya, the same mix goes in the snow blowers too.

been using opti-2 for all my two cycles for nearly twenty years and have yet to any of my two cycle equipment fail due to not using the recommended ratio or brand of oil.The best part is,I don't have to wait till the fog clears to work,opti-2 is a good product.

I've used Wally World Universal 2 cycle for more than 5 years, no problems. Used to buy Stihl or Shindaiwa 2 cycle.

Just make the right mix. Somebody here said they use a synthetic to 80:1; if your manual says 50:1, mix @ 50:1. Make sure the container is empty before you mix and give the can a shake or two before you fuel your equipment.

We use 89 Octane in all our equipment and it runs all year long.

I would really like to try the 80:1 am soil mix but
It makes me nervous. You guys are fine running your 50:1 expensive equipment like that? I am also planning on adding a couple ounces seafoam to each
    Mixed
Gallon. I have seen some neat first hand results lately.

I just buy the oil from Stihl personally.

Stick with the name brand oils. Go synthetic and never look back.
