Updated Product Information - LED MR16 Lamps

Discussion in 'Landscape Lighting' started by Illumicare, Apr 17, 2011.

  1. We have updated our product information sheets. Please take a moment and review.

We have a great line of LED lamps designed and manufactured specifically with low voltage landscape lighting systems in mind.

Not being that familiar with all the technicalities, what does this mean?

"By eliminating the electrolytic capacitor, we’ve developed LED lamps that outlast the competition."

  3. Thanks for the question: Early in the development process of our MR16 LED lamps, we identified the use of electrolytic capacitors on the driver circuit as one of the main culprits causing a lot of premature failure issues. Electrolytic capacitors do not like to get hot, nor do they like to function properly in humid / moist environments. We were one of the first companies to develop and use drivers that do away with electrolytic capacitors, making the lamps more robust and longer lasting.

Any other questions, feel free to ask.
