I have not upgraded since 2003, when I originally bought the software. My computer is only one year old, should I bother spending the $177, for the upgrade?

Intuit no longer supports 2004 or earlier. If you're happy with what it's doing and don't need the payroll subscription, carry on with what you've got. They haven't really added anything. I just HAD to upgrade in order to keep using my payroll subscription. I'm still pissed about it.

Yes , do up grade , you will love it .
It looks very different , at first I was mad , but then , it became sooo much easier to use .
    I am not sure what I up graded from , maybe 2004 to 2006 , .

I upgraded mine yesterday from the 05 Pro to the 07 Pro. Support is a big deal with intuit and my CPA. My CPA runs 06 and 07 and gives me better support when I need it. I can also just take them my memory stick with my info on it at year end. The 07 is alot different frim my 05 but not much different than the 06 model.

Then presumably, next year they will no longer support 2005?
