I have recently been offered a used ferris 48" hydro walk behind deck mower. It has a 17hp kawasaki engine with pull start, and it has a castering sulky as well. The mower seems to be in pretty good shape, but has no hour meter. The machine was used for one year commercially and was fleet maintained. It is being offered to me by a bankrupt landscaper for $2,000. Do you guys believe this is a good buy or should i stay away from it. Thanks in advance.

Very good price if it's only a year old.

Is it a single drive or a dual drive.

Jump on that deal right there... That would still be a good deal if it was a belt-drive.

Buy, Buy, Buy. I bought a 3 year old 48" single drive for $1900. You could used it a year and sell it for $3000 easyly.
