I was wondering if anyone had a kubota 6100hst and any details about it. I have one for sale near me priced at $2200 and $3000 to include attachments(bush hog, finish mower, box blade). It has 2wd w/ differential lock... Is it worth my time? I could use a small diesel tractor for some acreage mowing.....?

    Thanks, Wish!

How much do you have to spend. The 6100 is a tough little tractor but it's not goingmtomgomrealmfarmfor mowing large acreage. Whatvisnyou budget and what are you looking to do with it?

Well Im looking in the sub compact to compact tractor range....Im looking for something to mow a good ten acres. I need it to handle bush hog, finish mower, box blade, loader, possibly pallet forks and it needs to be a good trailer yard mover/tug for are familys plane. I figure most tractors can do that but im wondering about which brand has what i need at the most reasonable cost..... Im in the $20,000 and lower budget:(..... But if a $16,000 tractor can do the same as a $20,000 tractor im more price minded! What would i be looking at as a base tractor to possibly use a batwing???

For that I would look into a compact not sub compact. It's going to really limit your ability. For $15k you should be a me to find a pretty nice used kubota with pretty low hours on Craigslist. I would shoot for 26+ hp so that you can power a large mower.

Unless you are he'll bent on new I would get used with under 500 hrs. You will save a ton on someone elses loss. Those diesels are bullet proof and the hydros are real strong. Without a loader, these tractors are pretty hard to beat up with low hours. What brand is LS? I would also stick with deere or kubota as the resale is much better.

I have a Kubota B7510 with the front end loader, 4ft bush hog and box blade. It's a perfect size for small stuff. Narrow enough to get in and out of tight spaces. Just wish it had more power. Mine is rated at 23hp. Something that size might work for you.
