Used Scag vs Huslter

    ok so im about to sell my resi Toro mower!!! i cant buy a brand new mower, so ive found 2 used mowers.

    1) 2006 Scag 48" Tiger Cub w/ 26hp Brigs w/ 250 hours. $3800

    2) 2006 Hustler 44" Mini Z w/ 19hp Kawa 500 hours $2700

    I'd go with the Scag. They build great mowers.I run all models of Scags and have 3 Tiger Cubs.Check out the dealers for all three brands too. Good luck!!

    Look at the Tiger Cub or the Grasshopper. The GHopper is for big lawns and is a great mower if taken care of but for rediential lawns the Tiger cub is lighter and a whole easier to turn around in a tight space. Don't waste time on the Hustler IMO.

    thanks the hopper has a zillion hours but re-built engine, it would be sweet but tight spaces would suck

    Oh I just saw the pics of the Hustler ...run as fast as you can from that mower.
