I am new at lawn renovations. Trying to renovate an existing lawn by adding Winterwood Farm Eco Blend Compost as a top dressing. I beleive this works best if you apply 2" to existing top soil then rottertill in 2" deep to existing soil. My question is, do I use a rottertiller that you would use in your garden, or do I need specialized equipment. Would possibly core aeration be an alternative to rottertilling. Any input would be appreciated.
