Looking to finally get my lawn business going after years and years of debating.

This will be my 2nd formal bid for a commercial account and is for mow and blowing vacant lots no trimming.

Lots are about .15 to .25 acres with a concrete pad and there are 75-100 lots.

This would be done every 10 days.

Since there is a lot of lots and relatively small would 12.5 a lot be to much or to cheap?

If so what would be a fair price to bid per lot?

    Thanks for all your help.

Someone will likely do it for less than 300$

I'm not sure on the matter. After advice here, I figured I should be in the $5 a lot range thats with me charging 45-50 an hour with 10 lots in an hour I think. But if it helps I get 7.50 for lots that you are explaining with a trailer on the pad.

Dragon, I highly recommend you read Green Clean's thread on this subject. I learned a LOT from it regarding trailer parks.

Wow. Please don't come to Louisiana with those prices. Y'all wonder why this industry gets looked down on. Stop charging like the neighborhood lawn boy and base your prices off running a successful business.

Are you calling $12.50 a lot and/or the $5 - 7.50 per lot neighborhood lawn boy prices?

Just hypothetically 100 lots at $12.5 is $12500 a time
100 lots at 10 lots per hour
That turns out to be 125.00 per hour before expenses!

At $5 it would be $500 a time and 50 an hour

    $12.5 x 100 is $1250.00.

    You're numbers are off.

I think you've got a lot of trimming to do

So is $125.00 / hr "neighborhood boy price" then?
