    What size mower are you using? I'm willing to bet they are going to want the slabs trimmed around( after a month the grass will 2'+ along the slabs). Highly doubt you can knock out 10 lots/hr. you bid low, win, hit something on first overgrown lot, break a spindle or worst ? Now what?

    Your numbers were off. But woah dont get all upset. The price seems low to me as well...I just dont think you take into consideration equipment usage. Sure it isn't immediate and sure it doest seem like much but rolling around trailer park lots arent the easiest on equipment.. its not like the outfield of wrigley field or anything... I am just saying I wouldnt do it for that low. Because when it comes to having to purchase a new mower sooner than you thought...thats when you'll wish you charged a little more.

    I would never do it for $5.00 a lot that's just insane

    Bid would be mow and blow only no trimming
    I also would add a $65 per man hour (min 2 man hours) for anything other then the mow and blow of vacant lots.

    If people think its a little low what would be a good number to come in at?

    Are you absolutely sure no trimming? Like Krazy said, they're going to want it eventually.

    There's too many variables to give you a price. Put a google earth image of the lot up and we might be able to help some

    Not to be a ******, but I was running a 36 and averaged 9 lots an hour so it is possible, its just a matter of pricing. And Dragon they have a point there is a lot of crap in the lots...

    They are all in the same park but spread out through out it.

    Verified many times they don't want trimming (they mow common areas and she said they will take care of trimming)

    Also why I have the $65.00 per man hour clause in case they ever need help with other areas or trimming.

    I've heard the norm is $27 per acre, hence where my prices come from. I'm guessing this is not the case? If not then what is the norm?

    $27 per acre is extremely low in general for lawn maintenance for example. 1/2 acre lots are common around my area and $45 per service is normal. Unless they have more hedges or beds to be edged then I obviously go up....
