valve ID

    Ran across these valves, 1 has a bad solenoid, but neophyte that I am, I haven't a clue what brand it is. Can you help?

    It's a toro. But I forget the model number. Great reliable valve, pita to service.

    OK, Thanks, I was assuming it was a Toro as well, but can't see any ID on it.

    Its either a 250, 254 0r a 252. Hope this helps:waving: All those models I listed are basically identical.

    a 252 with the metal rings around where the thread ends are.

    most all 250 series parts interchange for the 1" models.
    diaphrams solenoids top ends.. etc.

    It's a Toro 250 something. Go to sprinklerwarehouse.com and click "valve ID".

    The screws on those tend to be soft, and easily stripped. Clean out all the dirt from the top of the screw, and use the right sized tip to remove them.
