I'm wanting to buy a vanscape truck but I'm concerned about the laws and regulations with regards to owning one. I have heard how great they are with turning radius, security of equipment, advertising, etc. What is the true cost of ownership as opposed to a truck trailer set up? How much insurance is needed? Do you need a medical card to operate? I live in Michigan and business is in Indiana, any advice would be appreciated.

If your operating a commercial vehicle in Michigan you have to have a med card, along with DOT # on the truck. You'll probably be a bit cheaper on insurance because you have one less piece of equipment to insure (the trailer). Dependent on the size of the trailer and truck your running now, you also may be able to get a cheaper plate.
