Vegitation Identification Question

    Ok, couldn't really figure out where to post this, so mods move to where it would need to be.

    I've got a little patch of this stuff that seems to come up every year and was hoping somebody here could tell me the name of the plant/weed. If it's not poisonous, I'll cut it off every now and then and feed it to the cows and horses in the neighbors pasture when they are by the fence.

    Don't remember if it flowers or anything.

    Not sure where Cane Port USA is but it looks like it could be related to the prickly lettuce we have so much of in the midwest.
    To test for poison chew and taste a little bit on the tongue and if it doesn't burn or go numb try a little more:)
    It may not even be close but that is what it reminds me of.
