Can anyone tell me why a large grouping of viburnums would start to thin out and get a greenish/white kind of scale on it? They also have a lot of moss.
Any help on what to do or what is wrong would help greatly.

Depends on what type for sure. I know that from experience sweet Viburnum has problems with both scale and chewing insects. Perhaps some pictures of the afected shrubs could give us more information?

Cottony cushion scale? pics are needed for sure. Don't mind my Des Moines, Iowa address........I spent many years deep down south with ChemScape.

Please post pics.......If you do not know how to do this, just post, and members will give you easy-to-follow instructions.

Keep in mind that if it is scale, it is a serious problem that is easilly fixed.
