    Any old timers out there that have seen these before?

    Now I'm cooking,

    These were on the property of the Hermitage, Andrew Jacksons plantation.

    Once pulled by horses, they are about 36" wide..total.

    Those are rough mowers for golf courses. They are usually pulled by tractors in gangs of 5, 7, 9, or 11. See the pipe above the rear wheels with the "eyes" on either end? That is where the frame extensions go through for the rear reels to attach to.

    Guess that would be quite a load for a horse :eek:
