I was at the volvo dealer yesterday and saw this.
This is a machine you don't see to often. A volvo skid steer that had been converted over to a tracked machine. I just don't know about these machines, cab seemed very small compared to my tak, foot controls which was a huge turnoff in my book. Look at where the A/C unit is located. That would get ripped of in my line of work quick!

Here's all the excavators that have been repoed from a grading contractor

Thats the VTS system, I am sure you know. That is the first time I have seen that AC unit. Volvo needs to just scrape that machine and start over. I can understand Volvo buying Scat Trac to get into the market, but after all this time you would think they would have updated that machine.

I just can't get over how weak the loader looked compared to a tak or cat machine.

I have one. MC90B with pilots, cab heat air, no tracks. I had a 110B with tracks.

They are a good idea in theory. (Cheep, basic, power) but they are huge piles o crap.

The cabs noise is way to loud. its louder inside than out side. The 90 is totally un-ballanced. the 110 will over heat pulling out of the shop, Alarms will sound and not sut off. They mount crap where ever they can find an empty spot. Front door is no exception. You cannot see out. We also had things fall off with in the first 1 hour of operation.

Thank god we just rent them to have extra loaders to pick up slack.

The air is good though, it does keep you comfortable. The seat is nice as well. The 110 has the VTS tracks and is a very stable machine when loading tandems.

But every single other thing sucks

Our dealer, has had an earful from us about these machines, so much so that we have filled out numerous machine complaints directly to the factory.

Volvo is going to be releasing a C series machine with basically a completle new design and a CTL in future.

Volvo makes more money on the excavators, so skid steers aren't the big seller.

I think your right, but they paid money to accuire Scat Trac. You would think they would update the machine and at least try and capture some marketshare. They have obviously resigned themselves to offering a skid steer to those who are loyal Volvo customers as more of a convieniece.
