this is for gas trucks only, and please keep it to 1/2 ton and larger trucks. I am looking for average gas mileage numbers, counted when towing your mowing rig around town. please do not use highway mileage or empty cruising around numbers.
    Thanks for your participation.

PS i'll start it off- i'm in the 7 and under. thats what 7.5 liters of FoMoCo does for ya :p

Not a truck but a Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9 360 V8. Get about 9 on average pulling an 18 footer. On the highway i get about 11 running about 75 or so unless it's windy then it down to about 8-9.

84 dodge D-250 with a 318 2v. She has no aerodynamics and that 16 foot over built tandem axle trailer with the 5 ft gate acting like a parachute doesn't help.

maybe 13 without the trailer. 10-11 with the empty trailer. 9-9.5 loaded with my equipment. 8.5-9 loaded for bear with debris.

The good news is loading her down doesn't really kill the mileage. Bad new is the $50 limit on prepay pumps doesn't fill her up. Man is that annoying.
