So he put a 1.4 qts in it.
What we do need is an oil pressure sensor like the on my Briggs Vanguard it simply shuts the engine down when you get low on oil.
2013 V RIde -- The "dummy sensor" on my hour meter comes on 2 hours before service is due and stays on two hours after - a four hour window. It does not reset automatically when the service is done. I found this out when I read the manual. A nice feature, I suppose.
Too bad about the bad service.
I was told after a curtousy oil change at the dealer that the oil change light flashes 2 hours before the interval and 2 hours after no matter what. I paid for the oil, just not the labor.
Is this a lie?
^- Nevermind I quoted before I finished reading the thread, he answered my question
That is a crazy useless thing......if you are out mowing all day the warning comes and goes.
