    Do you guys prefer walk-behind or ride on (ZTR)'s and why???

    I prefer a ztr because i'd rather ride than walk.

    each mower has it's place. for a wide open area, I like the ZTR's. for hillsides, or really small property's I prefer the walk behind.

    you can compromise by get a sulky (stand up ride on attachement).

    Depends on the job at hand. A W/B can be qwiker or easier to use than a ZTR on some yards. Plus less chance of tearing the smaller yards up.
