Walk behind grips.

    Can anyone tell me the best kind of grips for a pistol grip walk behind,and where to get them? Mine are worn out!.:( Thanks.

    You could go to Dicks and buy tennis racket tape and rap them with that. Do you really need the grips? I have small hands and I found that by taking the grips off and running just the bar my hand fits better. I do wear gloves with a leather palm and they will hold the bar and not slip off.
    If you still want them I would think your dealer would get them.(same as what came new)

    Thanks.I have electrical tape on then now.It just gets sticky fast.I'll see the dealer tomorrow.

    Yes, the elec tape will slide and leak glue. That is why I have used the sport tape. Or try a bike store.

    Here's a helpful hint...Get the foam pipe insulation. Use hair spray on the bar, slide the pieces of foam insulation on. When the hairspray dries, it makes the grips stick. It's cheap, and VERY comfortable!

    Never thought of it before but you might try motorcyle grips, might be too thick, Runners idea on the hair spray does work,that is what I use on my bike when replacing grips.
