What would be a better choice for a walk-behind mower a Toro or Exmark, which would be cheaper? Which kind of deck Fixed or Floating deck? Which is better Gear or belt drive?

Well..........Toro and Exmark are owned by the same corporation (Toro). Fixed usually works better for 36", but most (not all) people prefer floating deck for 48" and above. Gear and belt drive are the same type of mower. Perhaps you meant gear (belt) or Hydrostatic? Hydro is certainly the preferred (yet more expensive) version.

My current walk behind mower is the best walk behind I've ever used. I've currently got an Exmark Turf Tracer HP 48" with a 17HP Kawasaki engine. :)

You'll have to check prices with your local Toro and Exmark dealers to see how they compare pricewise. Good luck. :usflag:
