I am seriously considering purchasing for a new crew two walk behinds a 36" & 48" as opposed to purchasing a walk behind and a ZTR. Most of the lawns around here are Bermuda and range in the 1/3 ac to 3/4 size. There are also a fair number of Fescue lawns in the 3/4 ac and up size. I figured that I could use a Sulky on both machines if needed for the larger lawns. I also plan on purchasing a 21" truecut trim mower. My target customers are high end home owners. Most of these homes have either been built recently or within the past 5 years and very few have been properly prepared for reel mowers. Presently I oversee a crew that uses a Husqvarna 4217 (older model) and some Home Depot grade power tools. The machine does Ok but seem a little heavy for some of the newer lawns they cut (ruts). Any thoughts on this???
