im looking at 2 walk behinds

    Gravely Pro-G 32"
    Ferris 32"

I know the ferris is a hydro and the gravely is belt but i think i would get better service from the Gravely dealer.

    thanks

Depends on your relationship I think.

If it's a new machine, I would go hydro vs. belt regardless of the dealer IMO

No, it's Ferris, not farris. BTW, how many Gravely's do you own as well so as to make a unbiased, professional comparison?

I have a pro-G 36", it runs great but buy a hydro if you go with gravely. If you're comparing two hydros go with whichever gives you a better dealer.

If you want the 32" from Gravely, you'd better hurry up and buy it. Gravely will no longer make the 32" deck for 05'. It will become a 34" and will adjust like a typical fixed deck, on the front w/ spacers.

i know im gonna get slamed, but demoed a ferris 32 and could have bought it for 1300,but i tried a exmarkbelt drive and there aint no comparison.that 32 is a single hydro and will kill you turning that thing.i passed on the ferris and bought exmark.also the ferris has about 2 hrs on it,a guy traded it for a turftracer.he said it was killing him too.just my thoughts
